Terms and Conditions
Checking In
Check in between 12.00 pm and 5.00 pm. Check out by 10.00 am on the day of departure.
Campsites are numbered. Please set up on allocated site only and observe all signs in the area. Do not set up on any site without making a booking.
Site Bookings and Usage
• Each site has the capacity to accommodate either:
1. One caravan/motorhome and awning and one vehicle, or
2. One family tent (or two x 2-person tents) and one vehicle.
There are to be no extra tents on sites with caravans/motorhomes, awnings, or additional vehicles.
• Base rate covers 2 people, additional fees are applicable for additional guests.
• Please consult closely with Park staff and Park map to know exactly what the layout of your site is and how to best fit onto it comfortably.
Camp site information
• All drive- on sites need to collect their grey water and dispose of it in the dump points
• If any part of vehicle is used for camping, a camper trailer site must be used.
• Dump points for grey and black waste are located at Lumley Hill Campground near the amenities block. There is no dump point for portaloo, motorhome or caravan toilets at Somerset Park Campground or Captain Logan Campground.
Campground rules:
• Be aware that any person who engages in any recreational activity on or near the campground does so at their own risk.
• Management accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen property. Please ensure that cars and doors are locked and valuables secured.
• Limit your vehicle speed to 10kph and observe all signage
• It is very important to respect your neighbours right to have peace and quiet.
• Generators are prohibited
• For comfort of all Guests NO amplified or loud music permitted
• No noise after 10pm
• Parents/ guardians are totally responsible for their children at all times and are expected to supervise their behaviour and ensure they abide by the campground rules.
• Underage drinking and antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated
• Patrons who disturb others will be asked to leave and future bookings will not be honoured
• Every endeavour is made to satisfy guests requests for a particular site, however management reserves the right to move the booking if necessary
• Any fires left burning or hot coals left on departure will result in a $100 fee.
All Queensland road rules apply within the campground, including:
• No drink driving
• No riding in the back of utes and trailers
• No unregistered vehicles.
Refunds
Camping fees are not refundable for cancellations or changes within less than seven days’ notice, or for inclement weather. Where at least seven days’ notice is given:
• Refund will be provided less an administration fee of $25 or
• Booking for an alternate date can be made subject to availability.
• Pets are not permitted. Please make arrangements for your pets prior to arrival
